Hyundai has just revealed the first look of new Grand I10 Nios on its website and, here we compare it with the older model. There are all-new exterior and interior but the engine remains the same,1.2 CRDI Diesel and 1.2 KAPA engine. The final launch of the Hyundai Grand Nios on august 20. The biggest difference between New Grand i10 Nios and older grand i10 is the mileage figure. The new model gives 26 to 28 and the petrol variant gives 20 to 21 Kmpl. Which is on the higher side in comparison.

This is very obvious that the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios will be more expensive than its sibling. The Grand i10 comes in a range between Rs 4.98 lakh and 7.63 lakh (ex-showroom). The Nios is expected to be priced between Rs. 5-8 lakhs. The bookings for the new grand Nios has already started for Rs. 11,000 and it's scheduled to be launched on August 20. It will rival the likes of the Maruti Ignis, Swift, Ford Figo and Tata Tiago.

Grand i10 Nios Features

We are just assuming few features like most Hyundai hatchbacks, the Grand i10 Nios is also expected to follow a similar line of variants – Era, Magna, Sportz and the top-spec Asta. It will be offered in six-single tone color options, namely Alpha Blue, Aqua Teal, Titan Grey, Polar White, Typhoon Silver, and Fiery Red. The Grand i10 Nios will also have a dual-tone paint scheme of Polar White with a black roof or Aqua Teal with black roof options.

The Grand i10 Nios inherits its engine from regular Grand i10 which is very refined and responsive. The Grand i10 Nios built on a new platform and it's wider and longer than its older version with a longer wheelbase as well. the front look is enhanced by a large cascade grille which is surrounded by DRLs on the edges of the grille. The bonnet gets some new feel lines and the headlight units have been complete reconstruct with projector lamps. The fog lamp casing in the bumper has been redesigned. On the sides, the profile remains largely similar but there are new 15-inch dual-tone alloy wheels. The rear side is also impressive, the car gets new bumpers and tail lamps.

Engine I10 Nios

The Hyundai Grand i10 Nios is expected to continue with the same engines as is found in the regular Grand i10. That means it will get the 1.2L petrol and diesel engines. The 1.2L petrol engine produces 83 bhp and 114Nm of torque. The 1.2L diesel engine produces 75 bhp and 190Nm of torque. Both engines will come mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox as standard and there will also be the option of the 5-speed AMT found in the Santro.

The interiors have been completely redesigned too. The dashboard quality seems a little similar to the Kona. It gets a new waved infotainment screen which will approx to be an 8-inch unit. There are new horizontal AC vents below the touchscreen screen. It also gets a new automatic climate control unit, a new steering wheel and a 5.3-inch MID with a digital speedometer. There are also some textured hexagonal motifs on the dashboard and the door panels which particularly look very unique.

The Hyundai Grand i10 Nios has the same as compared to its sibling, but mileage figures are very different. Under the petrol variant, this Car gives 20 to 21 Kmpl, which is 3 Kmpl more than the older model. On the other hand, the Diesel variant gives 28 Kmpl which is 6-7 Kmpl more than its sibling. In term of mileage Hyundai Grand i10 Nios really impress us.
