Saudi Arabia’s automotive brand CEER has unveiled its first electric vehicles, the Exobot sedan and SUV, marking the company’s entry into the passenger EV market. The new models were revealed as part of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 plans to develop a local automotive industry.
The Exobot sedan measures 5.26 metres long, while the SUV is 5.02 metres long. Both models feature a futuristic wedge-shaped design, large windscreen and distinctive wing-style doors. CEER claims the windscreen is the largest fitted to a private passenger vehicle.
Inside, the Exobot models get a 48-inch curved 8K display across the dashboard, along with a 10.4-inch touchscreen and an 8-inch rear display. Other technology includes steer-by-wire, rear-wheel steering and advanced driver assistance systems.
The Exobot sedan has a claimed 670km NEDC range, while the SUV offers up to 560km. Both use a 112kWh battery and can charge from 10 to 80 percent in under 30 minutes.
The initial versions produce 850hp and 1,000Nm, with the sedan accelerating from 0-100kph in 2.6 seconds and the SUV in 2.9 seconds. A higher-performance version produces 1,111hp and 1,500Nm, cutting the 0-100kph time to 2.1 seconds for the sedan and 2.4 seconds for the SUV.
CEER plans to introduce five more models by 2030. The Exobot models are expected to go on sale in early 2027, while India launch plans and prices have not been announced.
