•  1.0-litre K10B three-cylinder engine, for the LXI and VXI variants,
•  1.2-litre K12B four-cylinder petrol engine, for the VXI and ZXI trims. 
• We also expect a CNG option to take on the hyundai Santro too.

The smaller 998 cc engine gives 67 bhp at 5,500 rpm and a peak torque of 90 Nm at 3,500 rpm, the 1,197 cc engine provides 82 bhp at 5,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 113 Nm at 4,200 rpm. These two engines come with 5-speed manual gearbox as standard and an optional 5-speed AGS unit for the VXI and ZXI variant.

New Maruti Wagon R 2019 also comes with new dimensions. The car is longer by 60 mm at 3655 mm and wider by 145 mm at 1620 mm, but it also reduces its height by 25 mm at 1675 mm. However, the car does come with 35 mm more wheelbase now at 2435 mm, which means space inside the cabin will definitely be increased. The new Wagon R 2019 will also be more spacious as compared to the previous model, which is a big plus point for 'first family car' buyers in India.

This is a very competitive segment in which wagon R is about to launch. The new 1.2 Liter engine on Wagon R 2019 may attract buyers more as compare to Santro. It also a rumor that this car may comes with a CNG option. Although Design of this car is not that much great as we expected it to be.maruti's Designers should improve something term of exterior design.
