Tata Motors is all set to expand its electric vehicle lineup with the much-awaited Tata Sierra EV. The company has confirmed that the electric SUV will make its official debut on June 30, 2026.
Positioned between the Curvv EV and Harrier EV, the Sierra EV will target buyers looking for a premium midsize electric SUV. With modern styling, advanced features and multiple battery options expected, the Sierra EV could become one of the most important EV launches of the year.
Driving Range:
The Tata Sierra EV is likely to offer impressive driving range figures to compete with rivals such as the Hyundai Creta Electric, Maruti Suzuki e Vitara and Mahindra BE 6. Entry-level variants may use a 55 kWh battery pack, which could deliver a claimed range of up to 500 km on a single charge.Higher variants are expected to get a larger 65 kWh battery pack, offering a claimed range of around 538 km. Real-world range is likely to be slightly lower depending on driving conditions and usage patterns.
Launch Date:
Tata Motors has officially confirmed that the Sierra EV will be unveiled on June 30, 2026. The upcoming Tata Sierra EV is expected to be priced between ₹20 lakh and ₹25 lakh (ex-showroom), making it a premium electric SUV positioned above the Curvv EV and below the Harrier EV.Lower variants could feature a 55 kWh battery pack, while higher trims may get a larger 65 kWh battery with improved range.
Tata may also introduce an all-wheel-drive version later, which could command a higher price. The official prices are expected to be announced when the Sierra EV debuts on June 30, 2026.
