BMW X6 M60i xDrive India Pre-Booking Begins, Luxury Coupe SUV Returns

BMW India has started pre-bookings for the new BMW X6 M60i xDrive before its official launch in the country. The luxury coupe SUV is making a comeback after being discontinued in 2023. This time, the new model comes with updated styling, a more premium cabin, and a powerful V8 engine. BMW will bring the SUV to India as a Completely Built-Up (CBU) model. Customers can book the SUV through authorised BMW dealerships and the company’s official website. The launch is expected to happen in the coming weeks.

Bold Design With M Styling

The new BMW X6 M60i xDrive continues with the sporty coupe-SUV design that gives it a unique road presence. At the front, the SUV gets BMW’s signature kidney grille with a refreshed look, along with sharper LED headlamps and new DRL signatures. The bumper design also looks more aggressive than before. BMW has added several M-specific styling elements to make the SUV look sportier.

On the side, the SUV rides on large 21-inch alloy wheels with a twin-spoke design. Black ORVMs and red brake callipers add a sporty touch. At the rear, updated LED taillamps and dual exhausts give the SUV a muscular appearance.

Premium Cabin And Features

Inside, the BMW X6 M60i xDrive gets a modern cabin inspired by the latest BMW X5. It features a curved display setup that combines a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 14.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system.

The SUV is also expected to offer features like ventilated powered seats, panoramic sunroof, wireless charging, multi-zone climate control, powered tailgate, and ADAS safety technology. The cabin focuses on luxury, comfort, and advanced technology.

Powerful V8 Engine

The biggest highlight of the BMW X6 M60i xDrive is its 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 petrol engine with a 48V mild-hybrid system. The engine produces 523 hp and 750 Nm of torque. Power is sent to all four wheels through BMW’s xDrive AWD system and an 8-speed automatic gearbox.

BMW claims the SUV can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in just 4.3 seconds. The expected price of the new BMW X6 M60i xDrive in India could be around Rs 1.3 crore to Rs 1.4 crore (ex-showroom).
