The third-generation Hyundai Creta has been spotted testing again, and this time, new spy shots reveal its interior details. After the SUV was first seen testing in South Korea, the latest images give us a closer look at how much the new-gen Hyundai Creta is changing. This comes just two years after the current Creta facelift, showing how important the midsize SUV is for Hyundai’s India and global lineup.
The spy images confirm that the next-generation Hyundai Creta interior will be completely redesigned. Although the dashboard is still camouflaged, the cabin layout looks more modern and premium. The design appears flatter and more horizontal, which usually makes the interior feel wider. The new inside door handles also look cleaner and more elegant, pointing towards an upmarket cabin similar to Hyundai’s latest global SUVs.
The test model is seen with black leatherette seats, likely offered on top variants. The front seat headrests look similar to those on the new Kia Seltos, showing shared Hyundai-Kia design elements. One major upgrade is at the rear, where the new Creta appears to offer more legroom. All three rear passengers now get adjustable headrests, improving comfort and safety. Rear AC vents continue to be offered, which is essential for Indian conditions.
While the interiors are now visible, the new Hyundai Creta exterior remains heavily camouflaged. Previous spy shots suggest a more upright stance, a slightly longer body and a squarer design compared to the current model. This indicates a full-generation update, not just a facelift. Expect sharper LED lighting, a redesigned grille and a more modern SUV look when the camouflage is removed.

Engine Options and Launch Timeline
Codenamed SX3, the third-generation Creta is expected to be manufactured in India. Hyundai is likely to continue with familiar engines, including 1.5-litre petrol, 1.5-litre turbo-petrol and 1.5-litre diesel, paired with manual and automatic transmissions. A strong hybrid version is also expected later as Hyundai expands its hybrid lineup in India. The SUV is expected to be safer and more tech-loaded, with advanced ADAS and connected features. While a 2027 launch was earlier planned, Hyundai may introduce the new Creta in late 2026, possibly around Diwali.Image Source - shorts_car
