Mahindra has been spotted testing a massive convoy of over 15 vehicles together in Chandigarh, giving a rare glimpse into the brand’s busy future product roadmap. The convoy included popular SUVs like the Scorpio N, Thar, Bolero and XUV7XO, along with upcoming models such as the Vision S, Global Pick-Up, and Scorpio Classic Pick-Up. This large-scale testing highlights Mahindra’s aggressive product strategy as it continues to dominate India’s traditional SUV and utility vehicle segments.
Mahindra is one of India’s best-selling SUV manufacturers, especially known for its rugged body-on-frame vehicles at a time when many rivals have shifted to monocoque platforms. The brand has multiple updates and all-new launches lined up, and this convoy offers strong proof of the work happening behind the scenes.
Mahindra Scorpio N Facelift Spotted Testing
The Scorpio N facelift was part of the convoy, even though the SUV continues to sell strongly. The test mule was seen with temporary headlights and tail-lights, suggesting early testing stages. The facelift is expected to bring feature upgrades rather than major design changes. Likely updates include a larger 10.25-inch touchscreen, possible front and rear ventilated seats, a panoramic sunroof, and updated interior tech to keep it competitive.
Vision S: Mahindra’s Upcoming Sub-4m SUV
One of the biggest highlights was the production-spec Mahindra Vision S, an all-new sub-4-metre SUV. The model closely resembles the Vision S concept showcased earlier. It is expected to offer LED lighting, panoramic sunroof, premium interiors, a new steering wheel from XUV7XO, ventilated seats, digital instrument cluster and large infotainment screens. Under the hood, it is likely to get a 1.5-litre diesel engine, rear-wheel drive layout and independent rear suspension.
Thar Facelift and Global Pick-Up Models
The Mahindra Thar facelift was also seen in the convoy, featuring styling elements inspired by the Thar Roxx, including LED headlights, DRLs and large alloy wheels. Alongside it were the Mahindra Global Pick-Up models in both single-cab and double-cab forms. While global markets may get both versions, India is expected to receive the double-cab pick-up with interiors similar to the Scorpio N.
Scorpio Classic Pick-Up and Other Models
The convoy also included the Scorpio Classic Pick-Up, a model already exported to international markets. Additionally, Bolero, Bolero Neo, XUV7XO and Veero commercial vehicles were spotted, possibly undergoing routine testing or minor mechanical updates. Overall, this sighting confirms Mahindra’s strong focus on expanding and refining its SUV and pick-up lineup.
