Who gets the benefits, and how it works
The FasTag Annual Pass is available only for private vehicles like cars, jeeps, and vans. Commercial vehicles are not included. The pass works at National Highway (NH) and National Expressway (NE) toll plazas, but not on state highways or local expressways, where normal toll charges apply.
Each trip is defined differently: at point-based plazas, every crossing counts as one trip, while at closed toll systems, an entry–exit pair is counted as one trip. The ₹3,000 fee must be paid separately (not from FasTag balance). After 200 trips or 1 year, the pass ends and requires renewal.
