TVS Apache RTR 200 ABS launched with price tag 1.08 lakh

TVS Apache 200 ABS model has been launched in  Mumbai with a Price tag of  INR 1.08 lakh ex-showroom, We are still waiting for the FI variant of Apache RTR 200.Hope Company will Launch FI variant soon in 2018.TVS Motors has now Come up with the new Carburetor model of Apache 200. Last month TVS launched Apache RR 310 model."Apache" is the most popular selling bike from TVS motor in India.TVS also enter the racing category bike with apache R 310.This bike was launched with a joint venture of "TVS and BMW".TVS Motor was the first company in India to launch  ABS in their bikes.There is more new TVS model is about to launch in India.

TVS Apache RTR 200 ABS  Launch Price

The TVS Apache 200 is updated with new ABS variant available to its customers. The ABS feature is only available on a carburated variant for now.Apache RTR 200 ABS costs 15,000 more than without ABS. The ex-showroom price of Apache RTR 200 ABS in  Mumbai is 1,08,000/-. There is a two-color option available for ABS variant White and Black.Hope TVs will launch FI variant very Soon in India.

TVS Apache RTR 200 ABS Technical Specifications 

In term of Specification, it's all Same with the non-ABS variant. 2018 Apache 200 ABS model has dual-channel ABS unit from Bosch. Apache RTR 200 ABS comes with Pirelli tyres as standard.The TVS Apache RTR 200 ABS has 197.7 CC single cylinders, the oil-cum-air cooled engine that gives  20.5 PS of maximum power and 18.1 Nm of maximum torque. These figures come out from carburated variant whereas FI variant has 21 PS of power with the same amount of torque.It has 12 LTR of fuel capacity.

TVS Apache RTR 200 ABS model has a mileage of 35-40 KMPL in the real world.Although it depends on riding style if you accelerate hard then mileage will decrease.TO get maximum mileage figure always drive within economy range.

TVS Apache RTR 200 ABS offers DRLs headlamp carrying a good amount of light. The digital instrument cluster and tail light LED looks amazing. The double barrel exhaust system gives sporty aesthetics to the bike.800 MM seat height is just perfect for every rider and 180 mm of ground clearance is good for every type of Indian roads.

As we all know that TVS Apache RTR 200 comes with Pirelli Tyre as Standard and Dual channel ABS form Bosh Company.It has 90/90 17 Tyre size in front and 130/70 17 at the rear.Front 270 mm disc brake of apache RTR 200 works really well with rear 240 mm disk brake.It has mono-shock suspension on the rear side and 37 telescopic fork suspension at the front end.That improves the overall handling of this bike.

TVS Apache RTR 200 ABS model Performance

Apache RTR 200 Accelerate from 0- 100 KMPH in just 12 seconds and can reach up to 130 KMPH.This bike is very agile on road and feels very light to take the turn quickly.
The weight of this bike is around 140 KG and wheelbase is 1353 mm which help to give good handling capability.

Verdict

is it worth buying ABS variant for 15000/- more? Our answer is definitely yes.As we recommend ABS should be mandatory for every bike that can go beyond 100 KMPH.Because Above the Speed of 100 kmph it is difficult to immediately stop the bike without skidding.So ABS helps to stop the bike and prevent skid at high Speed.We advise you to take a test ride of new Apache RTR 200 and decide if it worth buying or not.The main Rival of TVS apache RTR 200 is Pulsar ns 200.
